Ansis Helmanis

ANSIS M. HELMANIS, Esq.

Ansis specializes in corporate policy development, regulatory guidance, and advocacy before administrative and legislative branches of government in the U.S. and overseas. Upon graduating from law school, Ansis served in the Office of Legislative Services of the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) and as Regulatory Counsel to FDA's Center for Drugs and Biologics. Subsequently he was Legal Advisor to the UN International Narcotics Control Board in Vienna, Austria, a Director at the Lederle International Division of American Cyanamid and Special Counsel to Barnes, Richardson & Colburn in Washington, DC. He graduated from Boston Latin School, received his BA from Boston University, attended the Karl Ruprecht University in Heidelberg, Germany, and received his JD from New England Law.

Louise Zornoza

LOUISE ZORNOZA, Esq.

Louise specializes in web publishing services for life sciences, regulatory affairs, legal, and compliance-related professionals. She left private practice in the early 90s for the challenge of developing the first electronic reference libraries covering FDA and the then newly created European agency, EMEA. Louise expanded the reference library to cover the drug and device-related policies and actions of the European Commission, Council of Ministers and Parliament. Prior to co-founding RegLink Associates, she was VP for Life Sciences at MediRegs, in Wellesley, MA, where she coordinated all aspects of product development, marketing and support for the company's life sciences information products. Louise has a B.A. in Biomedical Ethics from Brown University, and received her JD from George Washington University.
